Troots once again proves Shooglenifty’s talent for music rooted in home traditions but with proven international appeal – Scotland on Sunday
Troots marks another high watermark in the band’s inventive powers. Released in 2007, it is the first to feature guest vocalists, in this case Scottish ‘puirt a beul’ songstress Kaela Rowan and North American Inuit throat singer Tanya Tagaq Gillis.
